Denial
Part 2
About this training
Denial is one of the most powerful and at the same time the most primitive defence mechanisms, one that affects not only our patients but also ourselves - as psychotherapists. If you want to understand and accompany your clients in their process more effectively, this training is exactly for you.
In the second part of the training “Denial”, Tobias Nordqvist goes deeper into the subject, presenting an advanced approach to recognizing and working with different forms of denial in psychotherapy. You will learn why denial is so common, how it works at the neurological and emotional level, and what consequences it carries - both short-term (an illusory sense of relief) and long-term (a mental, cognitive and relational cost).
What will you learn?
- How does freedom and dependency and denial affect all aspects of our lives, especially the course of therapy?
- Why is it important to pay attention to specific forms of denial in working with individual patients?
- What are our patterns of denial?
What will you receive?
- 01Full training video extending subject of Denial from part 1
- 02The presentation used in the training video with the possibility of downloading and viewing
